THRDC was delighted to have a bilateral meeting with the Belgium Embassy in Tanzania on 14th February 2024 at the Belgium Embassy in Dar es Salaam.

This meeting aimed to facilitate a productive sharing of information regarding the human rights situation in Tanzania and to explore avenues for enhancing democratic governance and human rights in the country.

THRDC greatly appreciates and extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Kingdom of Belgium for its continued support in the promotion of human rights in Tanzania.

From Belgium, the Directorate-General for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs from the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Ms.Bo Ampe from the Ministry and Fanny Heylen-Head of Cooperation from the Embassy participated in this meeting.

From THRDC, Ms. Nuru Maro represented the Coalition.
