ACHIEVING THE SDGs THROUGH INTER-GENERATIONAL COLLABORATION.

THRDC was pleased to be part of the Session on the Intergenerational collaboration towards achieving SDG Goals building up on key intergenerational perspective to the People's Assembly Declaration 2023 and develop a statement from session SDG Summit released yesterday 18th September 2023.
From THRDC, Nuru Maro was a panelist discussing how the young population, middle and elders can collaborate to achieve the agenda 2030. Ms. Maro stressed that intergenerational collaboration is fundamental in achieving the 2030. The young population have good knowledge and energy to mobilize people and resources calling for transformative action; the middle population are the key actors towards transformative actions and Elderly group are resources of knowledge, wisdom and mentorship of the young and middle group.
Other panelists were Jack Kupferman, President of Gray Panthers from New York; Derek Walker, Future Generations Commissioner for Wales; Rosario Garavito, Millennials Movement and Lani Anaya from My World Mexico.
