Meeting between human rights advocates from Columbia Human Rights Institute and Kennedy Human Rights Center in Washington DC today

A group photo after a fruitful strategic meeting between human rights advocates from Columbia Human Rights Institute and Kennedy Human Rights Center in Washington DC today.

The Robert & Ethel Kennedy Human Rights Center was created in 1968 to carry on the couple’s legacy and forge ahead with their unfinished work―all in pursuit of the dream of a more just and peaceful world.

Their  scope and reach have expanded substantially over the years to ensure freedom of civic activism, hold leaders accountable, and speak truth to power, in partnership with frontline advocates across the globe. They do this in honor of Robert and efforts to fight Injustice.  Robert and his other brother including President John Kennedy were all killed because of defending rights and equal society
